ALANA

'My life had been great up to that day. It was just me and Dad. I'd never known my mother. As he was in the music business I grew up on a diet of his favourite rock bands. Whenever they toured this country we were often invited backstage and sometimes Dad would be introduced on stage as the Hawaiian Elvis Presley. He loved that. People I'd see on TV frequently used our recording studio and my whole life was dominated by music. There wasn't room for anything else as he put all his efforts into launching my career. Then it all came crashing down with one phonecall'

A modern fairytale with a twist. Set amidst the music industry, recording artist Alana suddenly finds herself alone after the death of her father. But things soon change when two new women enter her life.

Kattreya Scheurer-Smith stars as 'Alana' in this strong all-women cast joined by Kayleigh Orrock as 'Kate' and Big Squirrel veteran Christine Easterfield as 'Terry'. This fast-moving drama includes live music by our performers, and includes more than just a few twists and turns.
